Our Mount Isa Branch is seeking an experienced, commercially focused and hands-on leader to take ownership of one of the most strategically important operations within our Queensland network.

Job Description
Here's a bit about the role:
Responsibility for the achievement of branch KPIs and overall profitability
Lead one of Applied's most significant regional operations, servicing a major mining and industrial customer base
Proactively develop customer relationships and ensure exceptional service delivery
Develop and execute strategic business plans to drive sustainable growth
Identify and secure new business opportunities while maximising existing account potential
Drive market share growth across your designated territory
Maintain a strong presence with key customers and end-users through regular engagement and relationship management
Develop, coach and mentor branch employees to achieve their full potential
Continually improve branch processes, systems and operational performance
Provide regular reporting and feedback to management regarding branch performance and opportunities
This position requires a confident and resilient leader with strong commercial acumen and the ability to motivate, influence and develop people.
Desired Skills and Experience

Highly organised, self-motivated and results-driven
Proven experience leading a successful branch, sales or operational team
Strong customer service and sales leadership experience within industrial distribution, mining, manufacturing or a related industry
Demonstrated ability to manage, develop and inspire high-performing teams
Extensive experience building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and major customers
Strong business development and direct sales experience
Mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in industrial products and solutions
Background in industrial distribution highly regarded
